Doesn't this equate to saying "yes, he's guilty"

It doesnt matter he will get out of it somehow and wont see a bit of jail time, he may pay a hefty fine and do some community service but thats it.. It's a shame he should be thrown in jail for the maximum sentence, in my mind anyone who had no compassion for animals(especially dogs) is a SCUMBAG in my book!!!

He was indicted in Federal court. I'm not a lawyer, but my understanding is that because of that he will have to do at least 12 months in prison. He should do more. Actually, he should be subjected to the same treatment they practiced on those poor animals.
OR, hung from his balls... that would work also. Juan

Watched a couple lawyers chat about it today and said he was in bad shape given the fact that he is the last one accused now trying to make a deal. Basically knowing he will be found guilty. So my question is, why does the Govt. make a deal?

He is definitely guilty of something, it's just hard to say what. At the least dog fighting. But other charges about how he killed dogs and how deep his dog fighting connections are/were is still in question in my mind.
I think it is very likely he will he will sereve some jail time for whatever he pleads to, but it will be a lot less than if he was convicted of something worse. My question is what team would want him after all of this? He isn't a great quarterback (fun to watch though) and he will be protested anywhere he goes. From an owner perspective, you won't win significantly more games with Vick as your QB, and the public relations could cost you revenue - so there isn't much of an upside of brining in a Vick after a year or so (at least a season) of being out of the game. |
