Here is what I'm not impressed with
native resolution 1,366x768 Contrast Ratio 3000:1 You can have so much more in todays flat panel display. Here is a Plasma below at Costco which is the same brand with higher resolution 1920 x 1080 and 5000:1 contrast ratio. http://www.costco.com/Browse/Product...se=&lang=en-US

you need a 1080p television minimum nowadays, but contrast ratio means nothing b/c there is no standardized measurement

Lot's of info to consider regarding this purchase. I guess my problem is right now i just don't have time to dive in and absorb the technical info to make an informed decision. Use to be if a TV was clear and the Company had a good reputation you could buy a set, take it home and enjoy it. My how times have changed. Sometime choice is a bad thing. LOL
