Audi Driving Experience - R8 Photos
I spent some time playing around at the Audi Driving Experience:

Got to drive the whole lineup of Audi's, slamming on brakes to check out their ABS, ultra quick lane changes for accident avoidance, short AutoX course, and tracking the TT, RS4, and R8.

I must say that I was very impressed with the whole Audi lineup and BMW better watch out I think it's great because they will be trying to outdo each other and that means better products for us!

Took some photos of the R8, beautiful car, very well balanced, corners extremely well at high speeds, nice power band, and WOW!












It was lots of fun chasing R8's around the track!









Now the hardest part is deciding what color to buy











The Ferrari looks good under the Wall of Fame



Had a TERRIFIC DAY today!

It was a great event, best one out of all the ones I have been to including BMW and MBZ. Nobody else has track time. I would highly recommend it, even the two hour free course.

Different cars at different price points. The Gallardo has much more power, 520 hp vs 420 hp for the R8. G-car feels heavier, R8 has lighter steering. Both have 4-wheel drive and corners very well. I felt that the R8 was slightly underpower on the uphill portion of the track, but really fun for a daily driver at $80k to $90k less!

Hey Eric, if you want to buy one, you need to go put a deposit down. Currently there is a 2-year wait for one. I put my deposit in about 6 months ago and was number 8 on the list and hope to see one sometime next year!

Hey MD, it was a great day. I have read so much about this car and all the reviews have been so positive that I just had to drive it myself. That white one was stunning and I am not a fan of white cars!
