anyone else seen this story? what's ur take?

GAINESVILLE, Fla. (Sept. 18) - A University of Florida student was Tasered and arrested after trying to ask U.S. Senator John Kerry about the 2004 election and other subjects during a campus forum.

Videos of the incident posted on several Web sites show officers pulling Andrew Meyer, 21, away from the microphone after he asks Kerry about impeaching President Bush and whether he and Bush were both members of the secret society Skull and Bones at Yale University.

I'm sure the student suffered more real injury than Kerry ever did in Vietnam when he was given his purple hearts!

I saw part of it this morning and in all honesty don't know all the facts but Sometimes it's a good idea to quit if you ahead or at least breaking even.

He friggin deserved... dumb punk _ss college student. Like Barry and Rebound said... learn to quit while you're ahead. Everyone is making an issue about freedom of speech and abuse of power. Cut me a damn break! He had the freedom to walk up to the mic and begin asking questions. Bunch of f'ing cry babies in this country.
