CDs are safe. There's a bit of risk with foreign currencies, but I don't see the USD appreciating much anytime soon. But yes I agree, for those who do a lot of investing.........during the flight, there may be unexpected turbulence, so keep your seatbelts fastened.

My (uninformed) prediction is the market will be down tomorrow, as profit-taking takes place.

Thursday, it'll be up slightly.
