If I were to be looking at one of those, I'd definately go with a Mazda CX-9.
If I recally correctly, there was recently a car comparo where the Acadia took last place, the MDX second, and the Mazda first.

i was too very imrpessed by the exterior design and stance of the arcadia! i see a few around here and they are not bad looking at all!!!!

Although it's kinda blingy, the Buick version (called the Enclave I think) is pretty sharp too. There's a silver one I see down the street that has a lot of presence.

If you don't need 3 rows, consider the Saturn Vue. I've always liked it when GM uses a European platform. In this case, the Vue is now based on the Opel Antarra. It has a terrifc interior too!

I dont know about that...we also drove the Mazda. POS...very cheaply made. It didnt even make our list

We drove both the outlook and acadia today. While the styling of the acadia fits our tastes better both cars handled well and had nice features. I would say it is a good alternative to a minivan.
