Just for sh!ts and giggles, I decided to revisit the ol' roadtoad forums ...

Clicked on the X5 forums there, and found many links over to xoutpost.com

This is how to fix your rear lamp assembly in case the BMW dealer has not provided you an updated lamp assembly under warranty and/or you don't feel like buying a new lamp assembly out of pocket.
