Shoe Protectant Spray

Does that stuff, the 3M kind, they sell in shoes stores do any good in protecting shoes?

A regular, thorough good polish job is whatcha need on your
kicks. I'd skip the "protector/water repellant" crap, imo.

Don't they teach you this stuff in E School, V...?!

i must'v chosen the wrong school lol. the sneaker/casual shoes i'm looking at have some suede on them which kinda worries me. when i spend $100 on a pair of casual shoes, i expect them hang in there for years to come.

Me....I don't wear shoes like that in an enviornment that will cause the kind of problems you describe. Different shoes for different ocassions. Any shoe of mine with suede as a part of the shoe is carefully worn and boxed when not in use and of course never worn in any wet enviornment.

Aside from that, again different shoes deserve different treatment depending on when you wear the shoe summer, winter, Casual, dress, work ect.
