Now this is just dumb (more Vick case crap)
These dogs should be put down. Once a dog is exposed to 'fighting' as a day to day routine, you can't alter that IMO.

Agreed.
I will argue that you can successfully keep pit bulls, etc, as pets, but once a dog is trained & exposed to fighting, it must be destroyed.

I'm obviously one of the biggest pro APBT people (if not the biggest) on this board. But, you can not release these dogs to the public!! Nightmare and completely irresponsible by parties involved. Any incidents that happen as a result should be solely laid at the door of those parties and not be a 'see this breed is bad' banner.
