I replaced my rear pads and rotors this morning. They really needed it. The rotors were not that bad but the pad were close to metal. I took me 1h15mns all together so not too bad thanks to the excellent article from hayaku

. The only little problem I had was to unscrew the lower bolt which holds the caliper. I had to use a combination of a 8mm wrench and a 7mm hex bit because a rachet would not fit due to the shock been too close. I also had to use penetrating oil on the rotor and waited for 5mns to help removing it from the hub. Other than that pretty easy job. Hayaku's article is also very good at listing all the necessary tools. I was missing 2 of them, a 16mm socket and a big 6' C clamp which I bought before doing the job. It is always a pain in the neck to discover that you are missing one tool right after having started the work. I do not know about you guys but my tools have the tendency to hide when I need them. I am always looking for one wrench or socket that I just used 5mns ago.
