Isn't the reason you actually have 'physical' searches to check things like under-wire bras?

A woman is told at a court house that she needs to take off her under-wire bra and push it through a metal detector, then embarrassed after the fact. Now if it is in their regulations to do that, fine the regulation needs changed. However, if it isn't stated "all women must remove under-wire bras" then those guys need fired asap.
