Fiat has been out of the US market for YEARS, if not decades. Historically, small, European, "city" cars have never done well in our market. That may change now, given the fuel prices; however, we are a very mobile society that uses highways a lot, and that does not like using trains or buses (with a very few exceptions like NY or Chicago).
It costs too much, and the payoff is risky at best. BMW and MB at least have a distribution vehicle here already. Fiat does not. So... no, Fiat won't bring it here. Juan

My brother and sister both had one of those as their first car.... It gets blown around by the wind a bit and has some problems sustaining 70 mph up the hills even on the m1.
WAIT.. maybe there is an american market... |
