Didn't see these posted on here, so I thought I'd share. One is a phone scam and the other is off of Myspace. It might be linked to Vonage phones as I have never received this type of call on my regular line. The voice says it's American Express and it's not a telemarketing sales call, it's a personal matter, yadda, yadda, yadda. It gives you an 800 number to call. Upon calling it, it asks you to enter your card number. I don't know what else it asks after that as I didn't enter my number, but I'm sure it asks for other info. It's seems very well done; it even has voice recognition. The number the call is from is 9545031800. I googled the number and it shows up on some websites. Some say it's a collection agency, but those are probably the scammers themselves. I have a recording of the voice message if anyone wants to hear it. If you want to see if it's from Amex, just call the number off your card.
The Myspace scam seems to only get your Myspace login info and continue phishing. You get a comment from a friend who's account was probably hacked. Embedded in the comment is a video that when you click on, redirects you to a website that looks identical to Myspace and says that you need to login to do that (view the video). If you look at the url address, they try to make it look like myspace.com, but in reality it's something like rnyspace.com, where the "m" is a combination of an "r" and an "n". Just thought I'd warn everyone of the scams I've encountered recently since there seems to be a quite a few new ones.
