LOL... there are tricks to the trade with installing headers (like lifting the engine...) but you HAVE TO do it the hard way the first time! That is the rule! all must suffer!!! btw, add a grill behind your sink drains... i found a bunch of crude in mine after a week of installing it... |

good idea with the sink drains... I also just cleaned my damn MAFs too as I could get anywhere above 120 on the OBD test on WOT.. My well calibrated butt dyno says it's all fixed now.. BTW... did you ever get your GC's when you had your M5? need to get rid of the floatiness..

nope... the m5 is too friggin heavy for me to waste money on trying to fix its handling issues.... the chassis had serious flex and needs a heavy duty cage.
but for your purposes, the gc or any other brand of coilover will do miracles for the ride quality and handling. mainly anything with a stiff spring rate and a matched shock will feel worlds better... it'll still understeer like a boat tho... Totally fantastic street car.. i miss mine... |

yup yup... the M is purely a street car for me... haven't done any track events for a long time due to work... but you should get another one! so comfortable.. still relatively quiet even with the SS headers and tubi..
btw.. talking about track cars, my neighbor recently ordered a Radical Sr8.. that should be a beast on the track... they said it's about 3 weeks out.. I'll post some pics when he gets it.. Quote:
