Awesome, those African Gray's are amazing birds. They can learn hundreds of sounds, many after hearing only once. A friend of mine had one that did a toilet flushing perfectly

Great find Barry. They have great personalities, a little high strung though. We had one, Pepper. What a funny SOB. We taught him to say my mothers name. He tortured her.

A friend of mine used to date a girl whose family owned a pet store, and they had several animals in the house. They had a few dogs, a cat, and an African Grey Parrot.
The Parrot had learned how to immitate her mother's voice, and had learned the names of all the other animals. So he used to torture the other animals by calling them. They would come looking for mother, although she was not home, or if she was she had not called them. He would then laugh at them. She also told me that they had to move one of the telephones out of the living room (where his cage was) because he had learned to immitate the telephone sound, and then when you would pick up to answer, he would yell "hello hello hello" and then laugh at you. Pretty funny birds they are.... But it is amazing how smart they really are. Most people seeing this video would assume that they can simply be trained to say things at certain times or on command. But they actually have very good comprehension. You could have an actual conversation with this bird. It kind of felt like you were talking to a 3 year old kid, but you could ask questions and get real answers.
