Note to self... next time around pay somebody else

to install headers.. LOL.. talk about victim... took me 9 hrs on the M5 and I think I still need to run to the muffler shop to weld the Superprints connecting pipe/elbow to the stock cats... (which are all closed already) ARGH!!! arms scraped up and it's 125 degrees in my garage..

Hayaku.. I need to buy a lift just like you.. life would be so much easier...

LOL... wow... sounds like an interesting experience. Kudos for you for giving it a try, though.

Hope you get it all worked out.

thanks Juan.. just a slight exhaust leak and I just retigthened the clamps after a test drive.. lemme tell you... best $/HP gain on the M5... wakes up the beast... SS quote 20hp gain... slightly optimistic I would say but still gains nevertheless.. M5 dyno meet 8/7 so I'm hoping to be around 360 at the wheels with the mods..

Sorry to hear about the hassles Josh....yea, the headers are a biatch on this car. Good for you for getting as far as you did though! I wouldn't have even dared such an attempt....

Just went on a nice 150 mile drive today in the M.....god what a great machine it is!

Hey Chris.. glad to hear you took the E39 out! I need to find somebody to host my video... Tubi sounds awesome but with the SS headers.. even better... BTW... here's another teaser pic of another mod...

Just out of curiosity, what's the diameter of the collector on those headers?

Satisfying to do something like that yourself, ain't it?

hmm.. I never asked nor did I measure it... satisfying? actually no.. not really... this was supposed to be a small project compared to the days when I used to build motors for my rice rockets... Nevertheless.. I must be losing my skills... haha
