It will be a mid 20's MPG POS too...should just be focusing on the diesels.

What reason do you need, diesels get over 35mpg...need another reason? Exceptionally well documented by, not only members on this board, but BMW. Fuel source that is readily available and proven EPA regulations....next question?

HMM I'm Going with Wag on this, Diesels are a way better option because they have been around so long, I suspect in 10 years time the hybrids will be far superior to the current ones
A few observations 1-Blue stop being an ass 2-The "Hybrid" crap all over it is fully tasteless JUST like the Escalade Hybrid 3-26mpg? How does that compare to the RX400h? I would say that it is still better then it's non hybrid version 4-I hardly thing people buying this suv really care at the pump, a few will but the most will want to be "IN"

I think Hybrids and Clean Diesel are both technologies to improve mpg.
Major automakers including BMW are utilizing both technologies. Over time we will understand the benefits and limits of each technology; it is to early to say which is best.
