Things are good here, I've been working on my house like a mad man. I figure 6 more months of pure hell and then I should be done....we'll see.

Good points. I did it twice, just to figure out where I missed it. I also didn't see any other investments, such as other real estate, antiques, etc.

This is slightly ridiculous.

Ah, I don't really plan on retiring, anyway. Call me crazy but I would feel unfulfilled with no job and nothing to do all day--perhaps I'll cut down on my hours, but nothing drastic. And I know that will make my wife happy... she can drain even more money on Michigan Avenue.
