Make sure you keep your original memory sticks, since you just voided your warranty

I'll bet that thing screams with 4GB, especially if you got the 2.4GHz processor with the 256MB video card Ram.

I will be running the office suite, do I need to buy a Mac version Adobe Acrobat or should I use one of the low cost/free knock offs?

Agree. Macs run best with lots of RAM, particularly if you do video editing. Just don't buy RAM from Apple. Their prices are ridiculous.

Over-dramatization.

What it means, is that if the memory goes, Apple won't cover it. However, crucial has a lifetime guarantee, so if you toast the upgraded RAM, put in your old stuff while you ship it back to crucial for a replacement.

So yes, keep your old memory and NO, it does NOT void your warranty

(and FYI, it was reccommended to me by APPLE (or 6 different people who work for them) to buy from crucial. )
