Our year 2007: Comments please.

What a year is has been. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, this year has just flown past. When I think back to this time last year it feels just like yesterday. This may be indicative to the huge change in lifestyle and moving house this year. It seems to me that once you take the stress factor out of your ever day life time passes by even quicker.

Anyway, before I carry on, I hope that you all have a great Christmas and that 2008 will be everything that you want from it.
Thanks to all of you on X5world for making this a great place to hang out and for the laughs; sterling fellows that you are!

How was your 2007? One of the worst years ever. Few things went right for me. But I had seen it coming since late last year to begin with, and not surprisingly, Chinese Astrology predicted a poor year for me as well. It's been subpar luck throughout the year, and many things just haven't worked out. I even got into a fender bender today . Thankfully, I've been able to preserve friendships and make a couple new ones.

Favourite thread:
I have bad memory, but I like the ones that crack me up. The most recent is mD's "new Warbird" thread.

Favourite member: I don't really have a single favorite. There's a few that make this place nice though: Michelle, Wagner, mD, and Creamy.

Favourite meet: Well, I've only been to one, that was the one at Arundel Mills/Baltimore.

Best car moment: Driving the X3 around the tight bends near Monticello.

Personal highpoint: Trip to NorCal, Lake Tahoe. Also met some "long-distance" friends in Monterey. California's a nice place to visit.

Personal lowpoint: Making the decision to go to UVa. It was my hardest decision, and I goofed. It's been a drag on me since May when I made that decision. Now I'm stuck in an awkward position, where no one wins no matter what I do about it.

What you’re most looking forward to for 2008? An improvement. Anything.

Favourite member: How can you single one out? Everyone I've met here is unique and special in their own way.

Favourite meet: I’ve had fun at all of them. I must say that this years CT meet was the best so far.

Best car moment: This morning when I hit the entrance ramp to the bridge, slid the shifter into sport mode and went

Personal highpoint Signing my divorce papers in February

Personal lowpoint: Signing my divorce papers in February

What you’re most looking forward to for 2008? Anything that 2008 has to offer. Bring it on

How was your 2007? Decent. SAT's blew. Twice. Can't complain about soccer, my team won states. Cars? Took up way too much fookin' time. Sales and service. Snowboarding was a-mazing. 70º and 3 feet of powder last april, and 10 days to enjoy the two new feet this week still to come. Work sucked. I learned the best lesson of my life, how not to treat your employees and applied to business school. Applying to college is good stuff, and the travelling that ensues is always fun too. Now I just hope i get in. I finally bought a new computer, which has simplified my life enormously too. After 2006, anything is better, and all I can say, 2008 ahoy!
Favourite thread: One of the storm threads from the spring. I liked the pictures.
Favourite member: Wagner for dicking out every semi-political comment of mine.
Favourite meet: Too busy to drive to CT :crying:
Best car moment: Making Volvo lose money... lots of it
Personal highpoint: Playing in and winning the state championship (soccer) game despite a BS card
Personal lowpoint: Wasting my summer being taken advantage of by a cold-hearted townie, working in absolute hell and getting paid sh!t
What you’re most looking forward to for 2008? College
New Years Resolution Party More.

PS, , congrats x1000 Major04!
