I was at this race in the grandstands. It was one of the scariest things I have EVER witnessed. I thought for sure he was gone or in the very least had some serious life altering injuries. Not so. Joey was back at the track the next morning in great spirits but was obviously a little sore. He didn't race the next day as was planned but he was racing again not long after. That BMW build saved his life!

I hated (yes HATED!) the Pontiac GTO.R enough already before this crash and vehemently DESPISED it afterward!!!!!!
