2002-07 Cayenne S is 340 hp 0-60 mph in 6.9 sec
2007-present is 385 hp 0-60 in 6.4 sec
Closer to the 4.6/4.8is

I wonder how that version fairs against the handling and performance of the 2004-2006 4.8is.

Any ideas?

Hey anyone drive one of these things yet? I wonder how it performs next to the 4.8is 04-06 models?

That Porsche was all over the place! I was really surprised how bad it handled. The 4.8 smoked it. Better brakes, handling, power, and LOOKS!

I know the GTS is faster than the S, but who cares if you can't turn it?

The new 4.8 was faster around the ring than the previous 4.8is, right? I would like to see the new 4.8 vs. the GTS.

I'm sure it will straight line speed, but if the handling and brakes aren't vastly improved over the S version it may be closer on a track than you think.

The e53 4.8is is better around a track than the S and the e70 4.8 is better on the track than the old 4.8is. All I said was that I would like to see it.

2 questions
1) how do you get the 4.8 to slide like he did, I've tried and I can never get it to maintain a slide
2) how can the e70 be faster around a track if it has less power, more weight, slower transmission, softer suspension than the 4.8is
