I always stay in Downtown when I'm Charlotte. What part of town are you in Juan? Any Hilton's close? Hate to miss out on points...

15 - 20 minute drive -- at most? Charlotte Center City is approximately 14 or 15 miles from my house. How fast will you be driving?

I will post detailed directions to the place as we get closer to the event.

Yeah, I know it's far from CA, so I understand. We'd love to have as many people as possible. PersonaNonGrata (CA), and SuperGreg (AZ) also want to come, but the distance may be an issue. Let's hope you guys can work something out.

I asked Kev to check on a tik to Raleigh, and it turned out to be 130 bucks cheaper...Still might be an issue however..Rental, etc...

I can pick him up at the Raleigh airport or at any hotel in the Raleigh area on my way to Charlotte. I am thinking about doing the trip to Charlotte and return the same day though and he may want to stay longer.
