This aint China. It's suppose to be land of the free. Instead what we have is a bunch of prosecutors looking for someone to convict just to close the case.

Speaking of wrongfully convicted, Nicole and I were watching a show about killers and where they ranked on the "evil scale". There was a guy who was convicted of murdering some little girl and spent 60+ years in jail. Now there is evidence showing he didn't do it and that this girl's murder some umpteen miles away was actually related to the black dhalia murder. The only reason the dude pled guilty was because he was 18 at the time and the cops said if you don't plead guilty, you're getting the chair.
I have no faith in our justice system.

District Attorney Craig Watkins also attributes the exonerations to a past culture of overly aggressive prosecutors seeking convictions at any cost. Watkins has started a program in which law students, supervised by the Innocence Project of Texas, are reviewing about 450 cases in which convicts have requested DNA testing.
