Fine by me. Songwriters, artists, and other similar people always do better in socialist countries because the government usually allocates more spending for such things. The individuals are paid on salary to do what they do, and thus they are able to be more creative without having to worry about marketing. I've been dealing with songwriters for years, and I can tell you that very few do it for the money. Most would prefer to not have to worry about money and simply be creative the way they want to. Songwriters are among the most liberal people you will ever meet, and most of them are indeed socialists.
