The purpose of the bill is to help people in need, not to be fair. And no, you did not do something wrong. Be happy that you earn so much money that you don't need government assistance.

Even without the $300-600 refund, I'm sure you still live a better life than those who will be collecting their refunds.

That means 95% of American households earned less than $157k, and 80% of American households earned less than $88k.

Apparently you think that 95% of Americans are "lower and lower-middle class". How interesting that you think that, because in many of our other conversations, you have expressed the opinion that most American households are middle class and not poor.

Well, according to the Census Bureau, the 50th percentile of American Households earned $34,738 in 2005. That is your "average". That is the "middle class" in America.

By definition, I think we can all agree that the richest 5% of the people in the richest country in the world, are indeed "rich".

Congress is not pandering to the "lower and lower-middle class". They are pandering to all Americans but the richest 5%.

Ha-ha, so 3 years ago the population in mass earned less then 157K, so 3 years later they create a BS packages that caps at 150K. Hmm, lets see that makes zippy sense. Why would they not have set the limit at 170K assuming peoples income actually increased in the last 3 years.

Just another BS statistic.

Also, be happy the government is dependent on your hard work to pay these packages to other people

See the problem is we need to tax people like you more, you don't really need to keep 60% of your paycheck. Probably should keep more like 20%, you need to help others and pay for socialist mistakes.

PS: until we severely alter are trade agreements, we will continue to get overtaxed to pay for mistakes.
