Here is the sad truth...A couple making $150,000 a year is hardly rich. Especially if they live in a major metropolitan city. Here in the San Fransisco bay area that almost gets you into a track home and almost qualifies you for food stamps.

The Ed Norris Show here was discussing this months ago (Ed Norris is a former police comish). He mentioned that a cop working double hours married to a nurse working overtime could clear 150K...so are they rich?

Housing slump? I was looking at some possible rental/investment properties in Back Bay/South End areas of Boston last week - >$700/ft2 - hard to make those numbers work.

What they're doing is pissing off the hardest/smartest working Americans. It has nothing to do with wealth; it has to do with how much you earned last year.

So if you are in the top 5% of achievers, you get nothing. Why is that Eric? Why don't we get a refund check like our friends who earned less than we did? Did we do something wrong?
