Embarrased at work on my birthday today!
Well - just wanted to share something today. This morning, I went to flight test at 0730 meeting as normal. At the end of the meeting, my mentor announced that it was my birthday. And of course, the whole room "30+" people started singing. Embarrassing as hell! Let me put it this way, all former/current military personnel. At the end, they rubbed my belly.
Went to my desk and lord and behold. CAKE! BALOONS! and cards! We are not allowed to have cameras here at work. but, the red velvet cake (my favorite) was great, lots of rich icing! Of course, my co-workers upstairs started singing too...these gEEks have nothing better to do???
Anyway - enjoyed the day soo far, except for the cold weather.
