Anyone Have Experience with the Westin St. John?

I have a Spring Break vacation booked there and I've been reading some pretty bad reviews Anyone have personal experience?

Have not been to that hotel on St John, but how "bad" a time can one have on SJ, USVI?!
Nat'l Park is excellent, most beaches are pretty nice, snorkeling ok, SCUBA is resort style,
but ok...it's the carribbean!

The "hotel", other than phony ambiance and how much they do or don't kiss your fanny, is
simply a place to sleep, hang and hopefully get decent food. I wouldn't worry over what joint
you are staying at/"in". Go have a great vacay!

Went to St. John last year and had a great time there. With so much of being a National Park, it is one of the better Carribbean islands.

We rented a house but did visit the Westin. It seemed just fine --- just not my first choice as I like to rent vacation homes. We met another family at the Westin, from our town, and they said they go there every year! So, I think you'll be just fine...

From the pics on their website, it looks very nice.

In the event that you do find a nicer hotel, you may have the option to buy a pass that lets you use the beach facilities there...which is what I did in Aruba @ the Hyatt.
