Actually there is some recent stuff in the literature which came over my desk .. if i recall it affects mostly women and has affects on concentration ability and short term memory..."The drug makes women stupid"

Well, if your choice is between dying and living, then I would agree with the doctors. But if your choice is between eating what you like while you take lipitor, or going on a very strict diet and doing without the medication (and the risks), then that is a decision you must make for yourself.
