Hope that I can rent a car or motorcycle. I know I want to hit the beaches and clubs. Where are the hottest clubs in Cebu?
If you haven't been there in awhile, it's changed a lot. You really don't have to rent a car nor would you want to drive a car let alone a bike. It's not as bad in the province. I've went clubbing in the province before. It's different. If you are looking for similar atmoshpere as the US, you would want to hang out in the metro area and hit TBC111 or blueangel.

For real though if you go too far south and somehow end up in the jungle, you'll have the al qaeda besides stepping on a dwende w/o saying "tabi tabi po" or running into a chanak.
Okay ... I wanna see a dwende and a chanak!

Yeah, I'm thinking most won't be able to handle the humidity/heat so will want to be where there's aircon (city). Heard about the traffic too. I'd be afraid of the mosquitos the most. I hear nets are kinda useless. They're small so they get through the net but can't get out after being bloated from all the blood it got from ya!

BTW ... I haven't been back since 1971 ... hopefully make it back on one of my China trips!

There are 5 or 6 BMW dealers in the Philippines if I'm not mistaken.

Guys,

FYI, that guy from E46 fanatics forum belongs to our bimmer club philippines group. I am also a member of that club . We have a complete collection of 9 M3's ( all models) with an X3 and X5 ( that's me !).

To all you X5 Pinoys,

That is just a teaser so if you get the chance to visit Manila, you are in for a treat. Do not forget to bring your might SLR cameras...

crazy thought - I know there are many good exhaust shops in the philippines. perhaps one of the pinoy brothers can scout some place that would fabricate a bolt on exhaust system for the X5, then we can get a bulk to be shipped out here. This would be good because I believe the exhaust hangers for both the 3.0 and V8 are similar. what say you? would the cost justify the means?

Anybody in the Metro DC area can give me a holler anytime and maybe we can hookup. I bet there are some Texas Hold'em poker players around.

Hey What's going on Mij? Sorry for the delayed response.. Anyways, I sold my STi 'cause I was looking for something with a much higher ground clearance to accomodate New Jersey's "very nice" winter..

I am, however, missing driving that turbocharged boxer engine.. Oh well, I might be moving down to Orlando, Florida soon so perhaps I'll give the M3 a try since they don't get snow down there. A rear wheel drive car should be just fine..

Happy Motoring Pinoys!
