I'm starting to see tons of these things in this area (Princeton). That and the e60 5 series. Tons of 'em.

People obviously like them .

Well Mercedes is prepared for the new Turbo and Turbo S.

They have their ML63 AMG with a 6.3L V8 making 510 horses. 0-60MPH in 5.0 seconds with their 7-speed tranny.

The pepper has become Porsche's best seller, believe it or not. It's not a bad car, but I am not sure I'd prefer it over the X5, noting, especially, that Porsche does NOT offer free maintenance. I'm willing to consider it, though.

i'm a huge fan of the 911 and currently drive a 911 Turbo S, but just cannot bring myself to like the Cayenne. It started to grow on me a little until someone got me to drive a 4.8is - much more fun even though the Cayenne Turbo has more HP.

I don't see the lift in the face. But I like the lift in the HP! I see tons of X5s and Cays around here.
