Eng 111 essay help!!!

So, I'm usually pretty good with writing essays...especially those requiring copious amounts of BS. But spring break is coming up and it seems my head's already there. The prompt I'm facing is the following:

Take a song, movie, or book that you like/love/enjoy thinking about and write about its politico-economic significance. There are many ways to do this, including (but not limited to):

-Analyzing the industrial, entrepreneurial, artesian, patronage, or academic economic network from which the artwork came (e.g. a major studio or label, an indie record label, a writer's workshop, a relationship with a wealthy benefactor or a graduate school respectively.

Remember: you should have an argumentative thesis that makes an intervention in a debate and answers the dreaded "so what" question.

My movie is...The Lion King.
Any suggestions?
Thanks you all!!!

Does it have to be the Lion King...

I could help you with your essay but I haven't seen the lion king in years.
(I do have a Masters Degree in Film (directing)). And a BA in Journalism with a Minor in History of Art.
So basically, I'm a bullshit MASTER.. LOL

B-line,
Actually, I chose The Lion King because I was very much a "Lion King kid" when younger and recently saw the show on Broadway. It blew my mind...and moved me just as much today as it did almost 15 years ago. So, I say to myself, "HEY! That'll make it ULTRA easy to write about!" Not so much. It seems like every argument I make about its morality and goodness can be countered. I guess I really just need to stop thinking so critically about it and write down my thoughts. Then revise. Then relax my brain for a week. Splendid.
Thanks!!!
-Zach

P.S. My organic chemistry midterm is tomorrow...eh. Wish me luck! =P

It doesn't have to be a movie does it? I mean, there's a lot you can generally analyse from song lyrics.

If it must be a movie, eh I watched Lion King ages ago and can barely remember the plot. Sorry. Thanks to my work in high school, I haven't written a paper this year at all, and none of my classes require them. Phew.

Where do you go to school? V Tech? (random guess from your "location")

Considered UVA...very tough choice though. Ended up going with Wake Forest in NC. I had several "Dual-Enrollment" English courses my senior year, but since a general IQ deficit existed at my HS, no AP courses were offered. No AP = no credit. Bummer.

As far as the paper goes, I'm to the point where I'm just pulling it all outta my rear. Worked well enough on the last one for an A-, here's to hoping it works again. Hahaha

Thanks!

Oh yea I remember this discussion from a long time ago. Wake Forest is a neat school, I know an acquaintence that goes there. Perhaps we can meet up next month when I drive back down to UNC to see "the school I could have gone to".

You'll be pleasantly surprised how some BS papers end up pretty good. I've had teachers where my "good work" got lousy grades, and my "lousy work" got good grades.

Curious, why not UNC?
But of course let me know when you'll be around!
