They are getting ready for the new model by clearing out their inventory? Doing so might take a while considering the pricerange, so that might explain these early incentives? If I remember right there were some pretty good deals for a while on the X5 (E53) when they were getting ready for the new one (E70).
Been hoping for a 7 to replace the wife's X5 (in 2009) - hopefully she decides she can live without AWD and the raised seating position I do like the new look (what little we've seen of it).

Though those models are as ubiquitous here in SW FLA as Chevvies
were in the Detroit '60s, they must have an "inventory situ", ...not sure 5Gs off makes one run out to buy a 100G car, but maybe for some. |
