Why is the cop the bad guy? The guy being pulled over was completely out-of-line. He has watched one too many cops shows if he thinks the cop was obligated to read him his rights. The cop was not questioning him.
So what if his family was in the car, not the cops problem, the guy being pulled over should have been more considerate of his family instead of making an spectacle.
Take no personal responsibility seems to be prevailing sentiment.
Why stop there...Why not just put a slug in the guy. Oh...That's right. There is a level of force for each situation. Are you saying the officer made NO mistakes here? I noticed several and I'm not in law enforcement. BTW...I'm usually siding with police and give them the benefit of the doubt but this was pretty clear.

The police force is a cross section of society. That guarantees some bad apples are wearing badges. This officer has issues.

I agree there may be some bad apples on the force, by why should the the guy breaking the law get a pass for his actions?

I'm always troubled when these events make the web, most people seem to find fault with any action the police take, but are unwilling to so the same for the alleged offender.

I'm not a cop and I have been pulled over for DWB (driving while black), however, even that did not give me free reign to act out

Freedom of speech does not mean consequence free speech

The driver chose to behave as he did, but in doing so, he had to suffer the consequences

Could this been handled differently...of course, either party could have changed the outcome

Cool there we can agree. Moral of the story...Don't argue with a guy with a gun. Seems obvious but alas, common sense is not so common anymore.
