I fully take your point, but as I posted in another thread about this topic, I can't help but think this isn't the first time he's done something like this. But political marriages are more like business dealings than private-sector marriages, and I don't think his wife can be all that surprised by this. Embarrassed? Sure. Surprised? I don't think so.

If she's truly that upset, I'm sure we'll be hearing about D$I$V$O$R$C$E in the near future. It will bear watching to see how it goes.
