Quad advice for my daughter and I
What should I get for myself and my daughter. I know I want to get cross quads and was thinking of something between a 450cc and 600cc for myself and 100cc for my kid. I’ve checked around and can get a kiddie one for about 1200usd. The budget for mine would be 7500usd, so I guess I should be looking for a used one. Thanks for any help.

I have a good friend who is really into Quad's his young son and wife have their own and have for years. Just know there have been lots of injuries and some broken bones in his household due to Quad fun.
They are a blast but when they tip over...And they do tip, they lead to some pretty serious injuries. That said, it is great fun and as long as you wear all the right equipment and play safe you should be OK. |

Ok, rough begining. Can't say you guys are wrong. I don't want to sound ignorant, but loads of people get quads and yes, there is a level of risk but is it bigger than horse riding or ice skating?

I had a dirt bike and fell a few times, but it was rare if the bike fell on you.

i was visiting West Virginia last month and while there a local newspaper had an article on ATV safety....West Virginia leads the nation in ATV deaths...40% of those occur on public paved roads....30% involve a passenger
The state of West Virginia has considered banning ATVs from public roads but has made no progress in the last 2 years...Those ATVs handle a whole lot different on paved roads especially if you leave the 4 wheel drive engaged while cornering In my neighborhood here in texas teenagers tear around on those things at speeds greater than 40mph most of the time with no helmet....Those things should be banned from public roads |

Now...Riding a horse on ice skates might be just a bit more dangerous. It would depend on how well the horse skated. |
