Wow...Blazing fast internet connection.

I just upgraded to Comcast Blast which is 16 Mbps. Wow...This is Smoking! Going from 6Mbps to 16 is HUGE.

Not cheap though. $52.95 just for the internet portion not counting cable and phone service.

You pay to play.

LabGuy,
We have Comcast, too here in FL...though not that step up.
Results of a test I run on occasion below. I run the test through
the same site and site's geographic "tester", trying to keep it somewhat
level. I run it out of curiosity and send back to my friend in the Mtns who
provides our wireless connection there, just to bust him and show how high
the bar can get, lol!
BR,mD

Last Result:
Download Speed: 13593 kbps (1699.1 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 1602 kbps (200.3 KB/sec transfer rate)

That's a pretty fair price for those speeds if you ask me. I think I pay $50 for "up to" 6 Mbps with Cox cable and I probably only get ~3 Mbps on average.

Just ran my "Std" Comcrap on that site: it ran even a lil'
faster than the usual site I use:

That 21 Down of Labguy's is amazing, though the
Up isn't much diff. This reading of mine is from
standard CC stuff.

That 21 was from TrueX5er. I posted a 27 1/2 which tracked 32 earlier in the day.

Worth every penny.

Yes, sorry about my typo: when I first replied, I ref'd your 27, 2nd guessed myself, scrolled
and saw the 21; so I changed it, lol!

Your 27.5 is fast...that 32 is haulazzz. When we migrate north back to
the Mtn., my wireless deal there downloads at about my upload speed
here in FL. I can hardly wait for that turtle action. ...

Speaking of Turtles, the Ol'X5World site is dragging so today, I can hardly
load a page and often a post goes nowhere, as in white page, can't find
site, etc. Maybe we need more donations...it is not my connection's speed prob.
