Saw this kid on real-sports....now CNN.

And while I envy his courage and tanasity, I'm not sure the tangibles are fair. He is a wrestler with no arms or legs, by normal standards. So basically when he takes a weight class, he is all torso mass where as a regular wrestler is legs/arms which can weigh a considerable amount. And while a full range of appendages would give you more tools to work with, you're still battling solid muscle.

Thumbs up to him though, that is a hell of a life.

Hey Wagner, you know I have to bust your balls on this one..

But are you really suggesting that a guy with no arms and no legs has an unfair advantage in his weight class?

I assume that what ever weight class he is in, he is at the far bottom and wrestling guys much heavier. Have you ever seen a 103lb. wrestler with arms and legs?

I think what ever advantages we can perceive him to having because of torso mass, are greatly overwhelmed by not having any real muscles in his arms and legs.

Of course it's a semantic argument. But I don't perceive any wrestling advantage caused by his condition. He deserves all the credit for what he has accomplished.

Never said he had an advantage....simple postulation I was expecting some one to get "defensive" though if I brought the topic up
