I am one of the two who voted for the blue, not for the exclusivity but because I like blue watch faces. Seems that a Ulysse Nardin would be an alternate, in the same price range. I keep looking at a U-N Maxi Marine with a blue face. No idea how they rate compared to this watch, but I want to alternate my new GMT Master II with something with a different look.

Remember, watches are not good investments despite what anyone says. You're money would do you better invested smartly in the stock market. So wear those watches..
First of all... love your PAM. Wish I could pull that off but my wrists are just too small. Same unfortunately goes for one of my other favourites, the AP Royal Oak Offshore Safari, which is only 42mm but very high and just huge somehow.

You guessed it right... my new-in-box watch is a s/s Daytona (white face)... Got it for list price and that way it will outperform most stock indices . I have another one (black face) which I do wear so I do get to enjoy the magic of the Daytona at times...

My preference is black. You can wear a black watch on any color strap or with any type of apparel.

But then again, what do I know? Every watch I have has a black watch face so I'm biased.

Canada,

We have very similiar tastes. I also have a black SS Daytona that I wear as an everyday watch and also have a white SS Daytona Brand New in Box with tags still on. Both purchased at MSRP.
Although, stocks are still a better investment.

As you can see, I'm also a big AP fan. I have two Offshore's.. Here's one of them:

And I can't agree with you about the small wrist thing. I have seen plenty of guys with small wrists sporting an Offshore. 43mm is not that big. Go try one on again

I can understand your point of view and for the most part, I agree. Chopard tends to be "more jewelery" and "less timepiece" if you understand my meaning.

But there is a big exception to that rule. The Mille Miglia's are really cool watches. And to purely dislike them because they are made by Chopard is not giving the watch it's due. They have a motorsports heritage, are a very reasonably priced watch and having owned one, can say, it's a great watch.

Now if you said, I don't like the Mille Miglia, I would not raise this argument. It's a taste thing and many people think the MM is too busy. But to discount the MM because you don't like Chopard is like discounting the M3 because you don't like BMW.
