Don't know a lot about Blackberry & Mac compatibility but if B-Line is correct the BB wont be my choice either.

You know you're right. Someone said it looks like a black and silver blackberry. Like it's trying to look like an Iphone.

I've done this once before. I bought a Sony Vaio laptop back in 2002 because it "looked" like a Mac. Instead of just going ahead and buying a MAC, like I did some years later.

I shouldn't make the same mistake and get a Blackberry that looks like an Iphone, when I should just go ahead and get the Iphone!

Especially with the next generation coming out soon! http://blogs.pcworld.com/staffblog/archives/006941.html

Just wait for software update 2.0 and the "APP STORE" in June on iTunes. There will be tons of apps that can be downloaded to run natively on the iPhone, along with "push" email etc... that doesn't need to be routed through BB servers, and won't be susceptible to power outages at BB .

I believe this would be the one to compete with the iPhone.

That would be me, and that's what I thought too. Not only did they simply stick black and silver plastic on it, but it is a shameless attempt to cop the iPhone's iconic style.

Yes, I said iconic. It's become as ubiquitous as the iPod, IMO. And for all the right reasons. My only quibble is that it randomly closes the browser once or twice daily.

Can't wait to see the next gen. Won't be getting it till my contract's up, though.

WOW is that SHAMELESS!!! I think it will suffer the same fate as the Voyager, though.

You'll all laugh at this...My wife just came home tonight with an AT&T Tilt from a company called HCT. Just for a reference I have the iPhone which I like as a whole but wish the touch keyboard would turn sideways when you turn the phone to make the keys large. Other than that I've been happy.

Now this "Tilt"...First of all it is a BRICK and seems to weigh 5x that of the iPhone. Next, the thing has buttons all over and after playing with it for 1/2 hour I could barely make a phone call let alone figure out the email or browser. This thing is about as anti-intuitive as it gets.

Sure it has a TON of bells and whistles, voice command, touch screen, button or pen. A real keyboard as well as other things the iPhone does not have.

Truth is someone who never used an iPhone could work the entire phone in 5 minutes without even looking at the manual. I was frustrated in half that time with the Windows based "tilt" and I'm a PC guy using Vista.

And all this... just as Apple is about to announce the 3G iPhone 2.0, and leapfrog a couple years ahead of everyone. Again.
