No lecture meant, but for first time or non-Really Experienced riders, take it cool on the new scooters. They do not handle quite like m'cycles, due to much smaller wheel dia. and cushy, but short travel suspension, and a much diff frame/steering geometry.

I've ridden several and they are fun, quick and very well done these days compared to my "Cushman Eagle daze" in the early '60s.

But, riding a motorized lil'sled on the street, In Traffic, is a large leap from bicycle riding or driving a car.

Be careful, be alert, think that No Car sees you or Cares, and wear a fooking helmet. GL,md

(Riding since I was 14, in the dirt and 42 yrs on the street and haven't been down, Yet.)

Ahhhh I remember US gas prices fondly, even at $ or $5 a gallon it sounds good. Over here in Europe at least I live in a country where its ONLY $1.30 a LITER or approx $5 a gallon, when I go to Germany or beyond it is over $6 a gallon with the exchange rate the way it is still.

Hopefuly things will return to normal for the good folks in the south as soon as possible, I don't think higher gas prices is anything close to what some of the people down there are living through at this time.
