Craig crashes Aston Martin DBS into marble quarry

But this time - it wasn’t an accident like the last two times. Shooting for the upcoming 007, Daniel Craig and the crew were working on a car chase scene in Carrara, Italy in which Craig is chased by a bunch of Alfa Romeo’s and crashes the DBS into a marble quarry. The action sequence will last for 15 minutes and is expected to roll right before the credits.

Well let’s just be glad they’re not plunging into lakes anymore. Quantum of Solace is expected to hit theaters in November of 2008.

Poor Astons.

The ML camera truck is cool. I saw a special on a company in the States that makes them. They had a Cayenne Turbo and Mini Cooper S all decked out with cameras and painted matte black.

Question: Does the "Bond" movies have first "crack" on the production Astons? Or do they have to special order these cars and wait like the "average Joe's or Joe-settes?"
