For those that follow the NBA

NFL has spygate, MLB has steroids. The NBA has a full blown conspiracy.

Yeah.. but I kind of agree with swallowing the whistle at end of close games. You don't want a foul shot to win the game. If it's obvious then you have to call it. I think you can be a little leniant on agressive plays.

Take Garnett last night for example, making bad moving picks all night. They decide to call the only foul with 40 seconds left in the 4th. juicy.

I predict lakers win 2/3 at home and go back to Boston down 3-2 in the series. So Boston can win at home.

Exciting series nonetheless.

The Michael Jordan theory is interesting. Imagine the taint on his legacy if he was suspended for gambling. Everyone knows he was a heavy gambler.

and hurting the Jordan legacy would have also hurt NBA profits & image, so a 'retirement' sorta makes sense - at least from a conspiracy standpoint.

These NBA allegations remind me of Canseco's allegations about steroid use. Seems like nobody believed it at first, since he himself was a know steroid user. Then he came out with his book, named names, then congress, then the Mitchell report - now all of the sudden it seems that everything he said is true. It will be interesting to see if a book comes out that directly names officials and/or execs.

Bingo, Bango, Bongo!

David Stern's legacy as the Commish that saved the NBA is about to go down in a ball of flames, and Stu Jackson is going down with him.

In the voice of Marv Albert, "He's on Fire!"
