I was with my dad last week (he has a Prius) and he filled up for about $31. I asked him how many miles he got on a full tank, and he said about 400

That is some cheap fuel you have there, 11.9 gallon tank in a Prius with 46mpg avg.

So your gas price was $2.60, where did you find that???

And it should be more in the 550 range

I don't think he waited until it was on empty.

As for mpgs, he does 95% highway driving and according to his trip computer, he gets about 45 mpg. He said when doing city driving, it's over 50.

He has the highest rated Prius then since Toy at best claims 48mpg. However, that isn't to be uncalled for as I'd assume city is very bias towards electric power.

37mpg, cost about the same, and is definately more fun to drive, but also less practical and smaller. For myself, the Mini is perfect. But for people needing a family hauler, they would probably prefer the Prius.

You should use what the manual says, not what the dealer says.
