From a professional standpoint she blew it big time.
Just imagine someone hiring a performer to sing a specific song and they decide to sing something else. No payday for that gig and maybe the phone won't ring again. These comments sum it up nicely...... "We asked for the Star Spangled Banner and that's what we expected. No matter what her reasons for taking this action and deliberately withholding her plans from event organizers, she absolutely chose the wrong time and place to do it. She knew what the city's expectations were, and she was dishonest about her intentions."
