And I saw an advertisement for a little machine that you can buy that will resharpen any razor.
Silliest thing I have seen in a while. So I can see the havoc it would make with those rubber and lube strips on a Mach III turbo blade

Issue with the electric shavers is you need to shave every day because they are not good with the long thick stubble. For those Monday's following a lazy weekend I use a traditional razor and shaving cream.
So you're beard isn't stubble by 2:00pm everyday?

Another vote for the Braun. I haven't used a traditional razor in years.

I was waddling through WalMartNation the other day, picked up
a pack of Sensor blades and Jeeshhh! they are getting pricey...
must be due to the big increase in steel prices.

Otoh, I'm down to about 2 shaves a week...RetiredBumdom
does not require the clean faced look, and when I do shave,
it sure feels good compared to the ol' daily scrape it off.

My dad has always used electric razors, and that's what I use. Both of us use Braun.

Yep but the Braun works on 24 hour stubble...Anything more than that and you need a chisel.
