Just got a MYVU personal media viewer

Reviews to come as it's currently charging..

So far though:
I'm disappointed that you can only charge through a USB device. What if I want to charge it at the airport?
There are a lot of wires. Putting it on is like getting rigged for brain surgery.

It is sleek looking. Much more compact, sleek, ergonomic, than other versions I have seen.

I don't like the fact that you can't run it on Double AA batteries. They say the run time is about 4hrs. (the same length you should get from an IPOD) but why there is not a AA powered external battery pack that you can add, that could also power the Ipod, is beyond me.

Lets say you just want to use your iphone. But don't want your iphone battery to be dead when you get off the plane, sorry, you're out of luck.

More info to come.

ZC,

I have a AA battery pack for my Ipod. I have found, it works much better powering the device than it does charging the device.

And besides, if that thing is plugged in, then I can't plug in the media viewer because it uses the port where you would need to plug in for power.

I see the dilemma now. There may be a charger with a pass-thru connector on it available.

He needs a portable charger for when he's away from an outlet.
