But your X looks great, has been well maintained and cared for. The highest mileage one I worked on was a 2002 3.0i X5 with just over 225,000 miles and ran like a champ! Just goes to show how great a vehicle can be if well maintained. |
Yep...I owned a 1997 540/6 which was out prior to the E39 M5. That was one heck of a sedan for the price. I fondly remember blowing away a Turbo Supra on a long stretch of freeway between Las Vegas and California. That was back in my younger days but I still remember the look on the guys face as a 4 door sedan passed his big bucks turbo at over 150 miles an hour.
I even played catchup. I needed to get my wifes permission to catch him when he jumped on the throttle on that lone stretch of freeway.
