Enough was left in those files to give a very accurate picture. After you responded to my post, I added a link to a document at the bottom. That is just an example of the many thousands of declassified documents on this stuff. And yes, a small portion of it is blacked out. But even just reading the stuff that you can see, it tells enough.

Actually, yes. Former agents who were involved have written books. For example, one of the best books on the JFK Assassination was written by Col. Fletcher Prouty who was Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs during the 1960s. If you have ever seen the Oliver Stone movie "JFK", he was "Mr. X" played by Donald Sutherland. Here is a link to his book:

Most are condemning this attack...while we see it as a success...despite civilians being killed...Its one thing to do...but the least we can do is own up to international laws that we broke...

I would assume that the attack may be part of Iraq's security pact...i.e. whenever the US feels threatened by neighboring countries, it has the right to use the territory of Iraq to counter. Either way...I think the timing of this stinks to high heaven.

Here are more former agents who have written books:

The CIA and the Cult of Intelligence written by Victor Marchetti who was Deputy Director of the CIA

How I participated in the CIA-Mafia Murder of President Kennedy was written by Robert Morrow who is a former CIA agent.

Rearview Mirror: Looking Back at the FBI, the CIA and Other Tails was written by Bill Turner, who is a former FBI agent.

And then there is E. Howard Hunt (a name you should know), who gave this deathbed confession:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fHZl91gN63g

Rolling Stone had an article about it as well:

http://www.rollingstone.com/politics..._e_howard_hunt

An interesting bit of history between two of these individuals:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victor_Marchetti
In 1976 Marchetti published "Foreign and Military Intelligence" and in 1978 he published an article about the JFK assassination in the far-right newspaper of the Libery Lobby, The Spotlight. Marchetti claimed that the House Select Committee on Assassinations revealed a CIA memo from 1966 that named E. Howard Hunt, Frank Sturgis and Gerry Patrick Hemming in the JFK assassination. Marchetti also claimed that Marita Lorenz offered sworn testimony to confirm this.

In 1981, E. Howard Hunt sued the Liberty Lobby and Marchetti for defamation and won $650,000 in damages. Liberty Lobby appealed the case with lawyer, Mark Lane. Marchetti, Liberty Lobby and Mark Lane won the appeal in 1995. Mark Lane wrote a book, "Plausible Denial", to describe the unfolding of that historic trial.

And now as you heard in the recording above, E. Howard Hunt has confessed to being involved.

So what is your next step in this argument? Of course it is to claim that these individuals didn't really work for the CIA or FBI. Too bad a couple of them like Hunt (one of the watergate burglars) and Marchetti (Deputy Director of the CIA) were extremely high profile guys.

So you are saying that books written by the Deputy Director of the CIA and the Chief of Special Operations for the Joint Chiefs during the early 1960s are not reliable sources for investigating CIA activities during the early 1960s??

It's no wonder you don't want to debate this any longer. Everything you said in your last post has been proven wrong.

Before you said:

And now I have shown you that books were indeed written by agents who were involved. The question to be asked is, what would convince you that your position here is wrong? Would the CIA have to release a memo to all the mainstream media admitting guilt for a crime that happened 40 years ago? Fat chance that is going to happen.
